I would like to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of myself and Popes Creek Stable. I have been managing the stable since 1993, and during that time it has been a pleasure to watch it change and grow. We have a very casual, relaxed atmosphere at the stable, where we promote a fun and friendly environment that is comfortable for both adults and children.

As you will notice as you browse the website, our stable provides many services; such as boarding, lessons, and training. Having over 30 years of experience with horses, I am very comfortable offering these services to you. I have obtained a wealth of horse knowledge over the years, beginning with my father who owned a dairy farm and raised cutting horses on our farm in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. By the time I was three, I was riding. By the age of six, I was showing at the local rodeos.

Over the years, I have worked with many different disciplines of riding, as well as breeds of horses. I have also been fortunate to have worked on many different breeding farms which allowed me to gain extensive experience with breeding and foaling.

Today, I use the experience I have gained over the years to manage the stable and the horses, as well as provide lessons to the up and coming equestrians of tomorrow.

Working with horses, you soon realize that the learning is never over. No matter how much you already know, there's plenty more to learn. This is what keeps us interested and searching for more. I have passed on my father's knowledge to my own children and grandchildren, as well as to many, many students. I look forward to continuing this for years to come.
